It was a scorcher today. So, we stayed inside most of the afternoon. I finally convinced the kids to head out around 4. We were there about 5 minutes and RJ declared he was ready to go home. But, after another 5 minutes, RJ got wrapped up in playing.
I'm still trying to figure out why we go to the playground to play with sticks.
I had to pry Ryleigh out of the swing. If it was in the shade, I'd push her all day. But both of us were dripping in sweat after just a few minutes. At least Ryleigh had a good time until I made her get out to drink some water.
We ended up staying nearly an hour. The sun took it out of me and I hope it took it out of the kids--we could all use some solid sleep!
