A Low-Key End to July

It was a quiet week in the Mosman house. RJ enjoyed his last week of summer camp. Ry loved her last week of having mama to herself, at least for a few weeks. We were thankful for the company of the Larsen family for an afternoon. The kids had their last swimming lessons with Miss Elle, as well as enjoyed some great playtime with friends we like to meet at the pool every week.

Ry and I spent several of our mornings outside. We blew bubbles and watched the three hummingbirds that have found a home in our backyard. Ry (yes, Ry) took this picture. I zoomed in afterwards when I cropped the picture, but she did a nice job of getting the dominant bird at our feeder.

We started August with RJ's birthday photo shoot. It rained. In San Diego. In August. It was weird. But, we all had umbrellas, and we all had a good time.

There will be more to come in a few weeks, but Jiza, our photographer, offered up this shot as a preview.

We're looking forward to a week of fun with friends! Play dates and get-togethers should make for some great times over the next few days.
