Keikyu Aburatsubo Marine Park -- One Last Time

It is hot. Japanese schools aren't in session, so people are traveling all over Japan. Those two factors make me want to not go anywhere. But, we decided to get out and about anyway today. We headed south to the Keikyu Aburatsubo Marine Park. It was our second time there, but it was just as fun as the first time.

The kids enjoyed the mammal show. We then took a spin through the indoor aquarium, touches some little sharks, said hello to the penguins, and had some lunch.

The highlight of the excursion, just like last time, was the menagerie of coin-operated rides. The kids spent every single 100 yen coin I had to ride on a couple buses and three different trains.

The kids were sweaty people by the time we were done at the park. We all enjoyed cooling off in the van and then the kids slept the whole way home. It was a good Saturday outing with the sea animals!
