Pumpkins

After we got to California, we heard of a great little place north of here that had a terrific pumpkin patch for the kids.  On the 15th, we headed up to Bates Nut Farm and enjoyed some time riding the hay ride, finding the stamps in the corn maze, and, of course, picking out some pumpkins.  RJ and Ryleigh chose four very nice pumpkins to serve as our jack-o-lanterns.  Well, over two weeks later, we finally got around to carving them -- just in time for Halloween.   Below are some pictures from our pumpkin hunting and carving experiences.

Yes, that's a jigsaw.  I don't mess around when it comes to carving time.

"BOO!"

Oooooooo...

A kitty cat for RyJo.  RJ's happy pumpkin had gone out by the time I got the camera--sorry.
Happy Halloween!
