I made breakfast for dinner. We ate outside and then made s'mores. The kids didn't fall asleep until around 10 and were up around 6:30. I'd say a good time was had by all.
In other news, Ryleigh lost her first tooth this week!
And, Jip had some excitement this week. He got to go atop the big hammerhead crane at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. It helped build battleships for WWII, but it is no longer in use. When it was operating, it could lift 350 tons and turn in a full circle. The crane is 260 feet tall, making it a prominent part of the Portsmouth skyline. The Navy has been preserving the crane since it went into disuse due to its historical significance and that it costs less to preserve than to tear it down.
This week is supposed to be lovely weather-wise. Ryleigh has her spring sing and RJ has a field trip. As always, pics to come. Until next time, cheers!
