The area outside the NEX is called the red brick area due to the entire area being paved with red bricks. Those bricks extend all the way past both entrances to the store. When we first got here, and up until about the first of this year, there was a little merry-go-round out on the red brick area that, for a grand expense of 25 cents each ride, could entertain RJ for hours. After the little coin operated ride was removed for some construction, we didn't think anything was going to replace it. But alas, today Amy and the kids found not only one replacement, but TWO replacements. There is now a little train and a little car for the kids to enjoy. We're very excited to have something back to ride but...they are now 50 cents per ride! We're okay with the new price, though, because the kids will thoroughly enjoy them.
Amy took these photos today. Enjoy!

Double the price? Now that's inflation ;-) They look like nice new rides though...
